Badminton Anyone?

#75

If you've ever been to Kansas City, Missouri, then surely you've noticed some of the rather quirky and whimsical art displayed all over the city.  At the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, there are giant shuttlecocks gracing the lawn.  They are a fun contrast to the seriousness and formality of the museum building.  And since they are one of the first things I think of when I think of Kansas City, I had to go photograph them.

  1. Great snap. I like how you caught it at sunset and there is a touch of orange in the background that matches the shuttlecock.
