Fortitude

#162

This poor tree looks like it's clinging on for dear life.  It reminds me of how harsh the environment is down here and how hard it is for vegetation to thrive.  We've had almost no rain this spring/summer.  Everything is dying including my grass and my flowers.  Sometimes in life we go through droughts too and we have to dig in our heels and reach down deep for the strength to make it through.  Having a well established root system will allow us to get the nourishment we need to make it through those difficult times.  That's what this tree says to me and I think it's amazing how there are lessons to be learned all around us if we only open up our eyes and our ears.
