It's so much fun to get a new lens and yet I so rarely get them. I'd read good things about a really inexpensive Nikkor lens so I decided that would make a great birthday gift. So I ordered it, then called up my brother and asked him to pay for it! LOL! He did pay for half of it because he's a good brother and because he wants to make sure I get him a nice gift when it's his birthday:) Between all the errands I had to run today, I hardly had any time to play with my new toy. But I did snap this picture of my son playing behind the curtains. Tomorrow I'm hoping to take it out on the town and see what it can do. Oh, and for those who are wondering, less than a hundred bucks including shipping, used from Amazon.
