I'm no expert but I think getting really close/macro and a good angle. Grouping make things more interesting. Zoom in to get details and try to keep things simple (no distracting background).<br /><br />How about putting the food a few inches from a window with soft bright light to avoid flash use/low light and not going out in the wind.<br /><br />Wish I was there, I have put up many lighting fixtures.
